Sex Therapy begins with a careful assessment of your needs and questions, your health status, as well as your mental health and related sexual history. It is good to know what sex therapy is not, which means that while we will discuss specific sexual questions and concerns, sex therapy is much like other types of counseling in that there is no physical exam, all clothes stay on, and our focus remains upon your sexual health and wellness outside of our offices.
Sure! You are always welcome! While Sexual Counseling is the focus of the work we do, Mary remains qualified and current on the treatment of depression, anxiety, family issues, and a variety of other concerns, as in the past.
Yes, we regularly work with individuals and couples practicing Polyamory/Open Marriage, BDSM, Swinging, etc., although the majority of clients are monogamous. Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender clients are a regular and welcome part of our clientele.
